Alunar i3 Cable Chain with Mounts

Alunar i3 Cable Chain with Mounts

I used the Hictop Prusa i3 but found that everything needed to be shifted 10mm backwards to avoid interference with the Z rods. My x axis bearing and hot end mount required a different attachment on this printer since it only uses two bolts on the top linear bearing units. I attached the cable chain mount to the spare bearing mount holes, pushing the stepper motor back 10mm as well. The mounting location was changed to reflect this adjustment. Ensure that the chain does not exceed or bump into parts at the top of your Z axis, such as the Knob. You may need to remove a few mm from the max Z height of your machine. Since I don't print large objects, this was acceptable for me. The new height is 165mm, down from 185mm. This piece is still under testing. Print Settings: Printer: Alunar 508 i3 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 1.12 Infill: 45 Notes: These settings were used at the time of printing on this PLA filament. You can adjust them to suit your printer, as they worked for me the first time.
