This is a custom connector for mitered aluminum window screen frames designed for 3/4" x 5/16" (external) aluminum frames. Various frame styles exist, so refer to the pictures provided to compare the shape with your own setup. The part was printed using ABS material with a 0.6 mm nozzle at 0.2 mm layer height and 20% infill density, resulting in a robust structure. The gray section depicted is what this component replaces. Semi-circular grooves have been incorporated to minimize surface area, thus reducing friction and binding during assembly. To assemble the part efficiently, stand it upright on a flat hard surface and push the frame down onto the connector. Attempting to force the connector into the frame may cause damage, such as bending the frame or breaking the connector, potentially leading to injury if not handled carefully.
