I needed to mount some addressable WS2812 LED strips outdoors and wanted to use some aluminum channels I had left over from a previous project.  I designed two caps, one to completely close off the channel and one to allow me to bring in a cable for powering the strips.  I used 18AWG 3 conductor wiring to send power/data/ground about 20 feet to this strip.
