<p>Can crusher for 355 ml (12 fl oz) aluminum cans. Also works for 221 ml (7.5 fl oz) cans. Made with a bottom that centers the can.</p> <p>Also, there are drain holes (so make sure your can is empty) to aid in cleaning and poking the can back out after crushing.</p> <p>For best results, "crinkle" the can a little bit before putting inside. The initial crush can be done by hand and finished off my stepping on it. There is a hole at the bottom for poking the can back out. Watch out for sharp corners, and don't pinch your fingers.</p> <p>Designed in FreeCAD.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>I printed at 0.25mm layer height in <em>recycled</em> GreenGate3d PETG, which I figure was appropriate. I used a pretty low infill, 10% IIRC, with a gyroid pattern for the plunger and cubic for the canister. A PLA print might need a little more infill to handle the stress/pressure.</p>
