<p>A aluminium reinforced Mendelmax Y Motor mount, this uses a 58mm long bit of of 40x40x3 Aluminium 90 Angle to add a bit of strength, also acts as a heat sink.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><h3>Category: 3D Printer Parts Instructions</h3> <p>Print with support.<br/> Insert Aluminium and re-drill holes.<br/> Drill or otherwise remove a hole for the Stepper Spindle<br/> Trim excess Aluminium if desired or if your using the 'tail'.</p> <p>This printed fine, but needed a lot of clean up due to support (PLA support sticks to well)</p> <p>Scad code is provided, as is where is (Ie the code is crap, but works)</p> <p>NB Aluminium is a very tight fit, a small amount of sanding of plastic is required.</p>
