This is a connector / corner piece designed specifically for joining aluminum 20x20 profiles together, tailored to match those sold within the Curitiba area of Brazil. Due to slight variations in shape compared to other global parts, I discovered that none of the available brackets on Thingiverse fit perfectly, prompting me to create this alternative. The OpenSCAD source code is included for customization. The connector measures 25mm long but can be adjusted to 20mm by setting the "reduz20" variable to 1 in the source file; however, a reduced size may compromise its sturdiness. As shown in the accompanying images, positioning three of these connectors at each corner creates an extremely rigid frame that cannot be bent even with manual force. This design is currently being implemented into my new 3D printer, and I am confident in its stability without requiring additional support. A protuberance located below the connector serves as a guide for aligning the profile's rail, preventing twisting while screwing and also accommodating square nuts (a feature that previously caused frustration when attempting to secure by hand). The design is optimized for square nuts but can be adapted for T-nuts as well; however, users may need to set "vao_bracket_porca" to 0 if opting for the latter. A customizer tool will be developed once I have available time. Please note that the provided hole is suitable for an M5 bolt and features sufficient space within its case for an M5 washer. Depending on your specific needs, you may be able to accommodate different sizes; however, this has not been thoroughly tested. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Graber Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25mm prints effectively (for optimal layer bonding, thinner layers are less desirable). Infill: 95% (high infill rates are strongly recommended for maximum strength). It is crucial to print this piece in the direction specified in the images for optimal structural integrity and best results.
