In the case of the TL Aluminatus, the 24v 80mm blower fan proves quite powerful for ABS printing, creating strong drafts and a loud noise. To minimize these issues, two actions were taken: firstly, the fan was rotated 180 degrees to blow air towards the printer's bottom instead of up through the deck; this results in suction rather than blowing. Secondly, a duct was designed for air intake from the side, away from the print surface. Notably, there is still sufficient space to fit Jeff's two-part bed corners despite the duct installation. As for slicing software, use KISS as it excels in support generation, but choose your preferred option if it's already tuned. The duct can also face the printer's back if desired.
