Alula Trek Canopy
thingiverse
Updated 8/4/21 Files have been tuned a bit for a better fit. Print flat with no supports if you have decent bridging on your printer. Else use supports. Preferred would be PETG or PolyPropylene or maybe ABS. PP would be lightest and strongest, PLA would probably prove too brittle (for the way I fly anyway) ;-) My PETG version with 3 walls, top, and bottom ended up at 21 gm. So a lighter 1S LiPO battery and no other nose weight might be necessary. My PP version weighs in at 14 gm. The original canopy is 7 gm. The magnet holes might work, but my Alula is pretty crunched on the nose so I always use a rubber band anyway. The hole on the top is for a lost model alarm buzzer if you use one. Credit Screamin' Eagle on RCG for getting me started on this design. It turned out to be pretty easy in OpenSCAD with about 20 lines of instructions (see the attached file, if you're curious -- opens in a text editor if you don't have OpenSCAD, which is free)
