This is an improved bearing shim for enhancing Carl's AluCarriage upgrade on the Replicator 2 printer, designed for use with high-temperature materials like Nylon. This shim allows grub screws to apply pressure against it, thereby securing the carriage in place. Print it using Nylon or ABS. Proper installation involves aligning the taller edge of the shims towards the rear side of each block to ensure proper centering and friction-free carriage movement. To secure the grub screws, use Locktite 243 (blue) adhesive - just enough tightness to seat bearings and prevent play, without over-tightening.
