Altoids Shelf Clamp
thingiverse
These custom clamps were designed using Fusion 360, specifically to secure the "Parametric Altoids Storage Rack" created by Wardwouts, which can be found on Thingiverse under ID 212918. To attach these clamps to a 1 1/2 inch industrial sewing table, I used 3/8 inch material for the clamp itself - it's worth noting that the nuts are quite tight, requiring either a pair of large pliers or careful tapping with another tool to secure them properly. For the attachment screw, I opted for a 4mm nut and a corresponding 4mm flathead screw; both were also very tight. To facilitate a smooth fit, I employed a flange/T-nut with a short set screw glued into place on top - it's worth noting that the size of the T-nut may necessitate some trial and error to get it seated correctly, as one sample was loose while the other was overly tight; in both cases, they were successfully secured with glue. Two clamps are necessary for effective use.
