Altoids Gum Tin_Pill Box
thingiverse
Since getting into 3D printing and design, I've consistently appreciated the Altoids Tins inserts. Recycling durable containers this way is an excellent approach. I've printed several designs for friends and family, and they turned out pretty well. I created this design primarily for my father. He needs his daily medications on hand as well as a couple of extra for pain management. In the past, I've printed pill containers from other designers, but those tend to get lost easily. After that last time one got misplaced, I decided to design something better. This insert uses an Altoids Gum Tin, although the gum itself is no longer available - AdaFruit has made them available for RaspberryPi Boxes instead. The size fits perfectly in a pocket without adding bulk. I designed two versions: one with dividers and another without. I hope this is useful to others as well. I'll definitely be using it to keep an extra set of my daily medications on hand, just in case. Let me know what you think.
