Alternate designs for video games labels
thingiverse
These are alternative versions of the NeoGeo and Dreamcast labels: fedaykyn's Dreamcast label design has the logo after the name, and it also seems to allow for printing in only 2 colours (like the European Dreamcast logo in blue and white), but not in 3 (like the Japanese or American logos in orange white and/or black - there are so many variations), using only filament change. So this version places the logo in front, which I prefer, and is just as they appear on the spine of the GD-Rom cases. I gave the logo a different height to the text, so that there can be a second change of colour, using two separate colours for the logo and text. In case the filaments you use means the black underneath comes through the white/orange on top and dulls the top colour (and not because not enough of the previous colour is purged during filament change), I have made a version with the logo higher than the text and another with the text higher than the logo. So there should be one that allows the overpowering black to go on top of a lighter element, whichever variation of the logo you go for. I also like the more colourful NeoGeo logos (as opposed to the MVS/AES logos), which uses 4 colours. With the black in the logo so close to the colours, there is no easy way to do this with just pens. So I made this label where different parts of the logo are of 3 different heights, so that 3 filament changes are required. Although if one were to paint on the yellow and blue (while the black is still printed on), then one can get away with fewer changes of filaments. (So for example, you can simply print the label in white, text and circular part of logo in black, then switch back to white and ignore the final change of filament and simply paint on the yellow and blue over the white.)
