Alternate anet hotbed strain relief

thingiverse

This is an alternate to the Anet heat bed strain relief from Thingiverse, specifically designed for users who have removed the plug and soldered directly to the pins. USE THIS DESIGN IF YOU HAVE REMOVED THE ORIGINAL PLUG AND SOLDERED TO THE PINS DUE TO A DAMAGED OR UNAVAILABLE REPLACEMENT. As I had to do myself after my plug was damaged and couldn't find a replacement, this design provides an alternative solution. IMPORTANT NOTE: While soldering can be effective in some applications, it is generally not recommended for joints that will be flexed repeatedly, as it can cause stress at the wire-solder interface. I am not a professional engineer, and this approach may not be ideal, but it works for me so far. To secure the two halves together, use a #8 x 1/2 inch wood screw. This design was printed in PLA with a layer height of 0.2mm and a nozzle size of 4mm at a temperature of 210 degrees Celsius. Future improvements include creating a "ramp" to prevent snagging of the Y motor pulley and redesigning the top interface for better connection to the bottom half.
