sketchfab
Beautiful votive altar in local limestone, highly eroded and invaded by lichens, found by the Bariain family at the end of the 1960s in the El Soto district between the Santa Criz hill and the Indusi river. Made known with a copy without reading and a photograph by R. Armendáriz, Tx. Mateo, and P. Sáez in 1997, it was later noted by J. Velaza as a funerary altar. In reality, it is a religious vow dedicated to the great god Peremusta. It is preserved in the house of its discoverers. Dimensions: 66 x 23 x 20 cm (altar); 23 cm (base); 18 cm (crowning); 28 x 23 (epigraphic field). Letters: 3 cm.
