Alta Rock Art: Transfarelv 3
sketchfab
World Heritage rock art site found in Alta, Northern Norway. Askeladden ID number: 116260-3. The panel sits about 48 meters above sea level, yet its age cannot be determined by shoreline dating since the panels were not created near the shore. Experts estimate these figures to be between 2000 and 4000 years old. This particular panel features one figure and a section that appears to have been smeared with oker, which could indicate an additional figure in the past but is no longer visible today. A large geometric figure stands out, resembling the Nyelv stone's design. For more information, visit altarockart.no.
