This is the skier tightening a slalom ski on the multi-purpose worktable. The holder will be secured between the bench clamps at the distance of the ski binding (equal to the ski boot's sole). The ski is then locked onto the table with its binding, and the ski-stopper retracts. The set also features a connector between the end pieces (adjustable for 220-330mm binding distances). With this connector, you can first attach the unit to the ski and then secure the ski to the worktable. This will also make the unit more stable, although it seems to function properly without it as well.
