Alphabet Blocks

Alphabet Blocks

thingiverse

A set of alphabet blocks that snap together sideways, enabling the creation of words. My wife discovered similar blocks online from a Danish company, but they fit together top and bottom, limiting their usefulness in reading multiple words at once. I designed this version using Fusion, noting that these blocks are incompatible with those from the Danish company. I printed them out with distinct colors for vowels and consonants, planning to create another set featuring numbers in a separate color. The design includes several updates, including more rounded interior edges to reduce sharpness and a connection between the outer shell and interior oval to enhance bed adhesion. Additionally, I created two variations: one with extruded lettering and another with recessed lettering. To allow for further customization, I've included Fusion 360 files for raised and recessed lettering.
