Alpha One Power Trim Bushing

While replacing the water pump impeller on my stern drive I managed to damage one of the old power trim ram bushings. They are, in my honest opinion, far too pricey to purchase, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. These bushings fit an Alpha One Gen II but may also be compatible with other stern drive power trim units. I am not liable for any damage you may cause to your boat as a result of using these bushings. Use them at your own risk! Update 5/31/17: After a fantastic weekend of boating, I decided to inspect the bushings. While they are still holding together nicely, I feel that there is just a tiny amount of play. I will be altering some of the dimensions, testing them out, and republishing my findings. Stay tuned! Update 6/12/17: The play is actually coming from the shaft/upper drive unit tolerance. The original bushing design turns out to be just fine after all.
