Alpha Grub A monstrous Creature miniature for 28mm games. Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Also includes a simple printable figure base. I’m not going to pretend that I know what I’ve sculpted here. Some kind of hideous vaguely insectile monstrosity that would be at home in the darkest dungeon, deepest hell, or most irradiated wasteland. If you make up some stats for it, I’d love to see ‘em and share ‘em! Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic. I sculpted this monster at the behest of my wife, who gave me a doodle and told me to go to town. She used it as a proxy in her Dark Age games, but it has never been mass-produced or published before this.
