The concept of the alot was originally conceived by Allie Brosh. If you're not familiar with the alot, a brief explanation is available at hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/04/alot-is-better-than-you-at-everything.html. The 3D Artist contest posed an intriguing question: "what monster would you like to have in your pocket?" My response was simple: I'd love to have alot in my pocket, only to subsequently remove it and place it atop my head, whereupon I'd proudly declare that alot is indeed on my mind.
