Livermore California backyard test shots showcased a cactus model. Notice how the spikes obscured each other's view, blocking visibility of the spikes behind them. A depth map necessitates triangulation to pinpoint surfaces in 3D space, necessitating multiple views to accurately depict the "canyons" between the spikes. Initially, my focus was on experimenting with new techniques rather than crafting a high-quality model. However, this test revealed that the canyons do indeed feature bridges at their base, which turned out well.
