This is a 3D model of an activated almond, soaked in water for 14 hours. It's the same almond as the dry natural Almond 003 found in my portfolio. I've modeled and prepared it for photorealistic renderings, close-ups, stills, and animation. The wet almond model is ready to use right out of the box. Meshes: The activated almond model comes as a single mesh in two versions. This quad-based mesh has a base polycount of 2,890 vertices. A high-detail version is also included, available in .max and .obj formats, with 184,000 quads. Materials: The .max 2014 files come with Corona (1.5) and Vray (3.4) materials. Other versions have basic materials that will need to be adjusted according to your software's requirements. Maps: Four maps are provided with this model: diffuse, specular, normal, and displacement. These maps are available in both 8192×8192 PNGs and downsampled versions in 2048×2048 JPGs. Formats: The original file was created in 3ds Max 2014 using Corona and Vray materials (1.5 and 3.4). You'll receive files in 3DS, OBJ, LWO, FBX, SKP, C4D, 3DM, and MAX format (2014). If you need any other format, please ask via 3Docean. Information: All preview images were rendered with Corona. Please note that the preview images are post-production results and may differ from the actual model's appearance in your scene due to specific settings. The product is ready to render out-of-the-box, but keep in mind that lights, cameras, and backgrounds are not included. The model is clean, alone, centered at origin, and has real-world scale.
