Allt Coire Phadairlidh 1 - Cup Marked Stone

This small weathered stone rests on a 360-meter contour line on a south-easterly facing slope above Loch Tay beneath Meall Greigh, nestled among a group of morainic boulders. The rock is likely amphibolite, although its surface is too covered in lichen to confirm this with certainty. A total of seven cup marks are visible in the field, and a model suggests that there may be as many as ten. The model appears to hint at a ring surrounding the largest cup on the south-eastern edge, but this feature was not observed during the field survey.
