This alligator skull is a direct adaptation of user AlexJDrew's groundbreaking alligator skull model, boasting an innovative snap-together jaw hinge as well as expert refinements to ensure seamless printability. Jaw hinge features were meticulously sculpted in Autodesk Meshmixer, where additional skull details were seamlessly integrated. Three distinct models are provided for optimal printing on various MakerBot Replicators: Normal scale set optimized specifically for printing on a MakerBot Replicator 2 50% scale set designed to perfectly complement the compact capabilities of a MakerBot Mini 170% scale version tailored for printing on a robust MakerBot Z18, offering an impressive and awe-inspiring scale Optimal Print Settings: Printer: MakerBot Rafts: Not necessary to adjust Supports: Leave as is Resolution: Adjust according to your preference Infill: Up to you Notes: For Rep 2 users: Print the lower skull with no raft or supports, while printing the upper skull exactly as specified in the .STL file. Toggle on breakaway supports in MB desktop and adjust rafts and supports at an angle of 70 degrees for optimal results. For Z18 users: Print both parts with supports set to 70 degrees and rafts enabled. Don't forget to toggle breakaway supports in MB desktop for a smooth printing experience. For Mini users (50% scale): Print the two parts in place, exactly as specified in the .STL files. No additional supports are required for either part.
