I reside in NYC, where an apartment is currently undergoing renovation, and our super installs elevator blankets - every time you step into the elevator, they cascade down on top of your head. To my aid comes an alligator, cleverly devised to solve this predicament! Indeed, I could have resorted to split rings or cotter hairpins, but it's far more entertaining to have my neighbors speculate.
