ALLEN KEY MOUNTABLE HOLDER
thingiverse
This was designed to organize the set of Allen Keys that commonly come with 3D Printers. The hole sizing was measured from the set that come with the Creality Ender 5 Plus which tends to have fractionally smaller dimensions than some others from hardware stores. To accommodate different manufacturing tolerances and/or personal preferences for fit, three different hole clearance fits are provided: Snug, Loose, Very Loose. The snug option can be loosed/worn out to any desired fit if necessary as it should be the minimum end of the fit range. The holder mount has 5 holes, recommending use only 2, but you have varying distances to match different rails. Each hole is spaced 10mm apart. For mounting to a standard 2020 extrusion, I used M3 x 8mm screws, but I believe M3 x 6mm would work as well.3D PRINTING SETTINGSholder and mount print separatelyno supportsYou can use whatever defaults you prefer for settings, but the sample images uses these:0.2 mm layer height0.4mm layer width3 walls, 4 top/bottom layers12% cubic infill80 mm/s excepting 20 mm/s outer wallsThis model is 100% free.
