If you want to create a longer staff, grab my 1" cane coupler from here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3810485 You can also check out my 1" wall mount clips for displaying your canes/sticks at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3845550 For about $7, you can make a solid oak walking stick. In addition to the printed top of your choice, you will need a 1” oak dowel that costs around $6 at Home Depot and a 1” rubber leg tip – approximately $4 for four of them. The links below are just for reference so you know what to buy: 1” Oak Dowel: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Builder-s-Choice-1-in-x-36-in-Oak-Round-Dowel-HDDO136/206184686 1” Leg Tip: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QD30TE The topper .stl file is designed for the 1” dowel if printed at 100%. If you want to use it for a different size stick, just adjust accordingly. I print at 20% infill and then paint and coat with a 2-part epoxy resin to add depth and strength. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BM9LHRB Just print the top, glue to the finished dowel (sand and clear coat) with your desired adhesive. You can use some of the 2-part resin I have mixed up for the final top coat. This will give you a fantastic walking stick – or more if you enjoy collecting like I do.
