You'll find here all the 3D models you need to make a costume of Padme Amidala's Tan Tunic that she wears in Star Wars The Clone Wars, Season 6, Episodes 5 and 7: "An Old Friend" and "Crisis at the Hearth". The following elements are included: - Chest piece: This model doesn't have any fixation, so you can choose how to attach it to your fabric - glue, magnets, or whatever method works best for you. - Boots pieces: Left and Right ones. - Cuffs: Print these twice, as they're a bit tricky to get right on the first try. - Buckle: This buckle is made in three parts and is fully functional, with straps that link all the parts together. Below are some additional details you'll need to know: Sizes may need to be adjusted slightly for the wearer, as this costume was designed based on a cartoon character. The current size is intended for an average person, but the cuffs will likely need to be narrowed down to 60-65% of your actual cuff circumference. All parts should be painted in gold and brown colors. The cuffs and buckle should have a brown background, while the buckle's back parts should also be painted brown - even though they won't be visible. Regarding print settings, all models are already optimized for orientation to minimize support and get the best results. I recommend printing with brims but no raft, as the tension on the straps can cause issues. To ensure a smooth finish, I highly recommend printing each part at 100% infill. To achieve an accurate look, you'll need to sand down the edges of the embossed parts on the following components: - Chest piece: No finishing is needed here - it's already perfect. - Boots pieces: These were designed flat, so you can heat them up with a hot gun and curve them to fit your boot or wearer. Be careful not to burn yourself! - Cuffs: Again, these are made flat for ease of fitting, but be sure to wrap your cuff in fabric wetted with cold water before applying the plastic - direct contact can cause burns. - Buckle: Similar to the cuffs, you'll need to sand down the edges to achieve a smooth curve. The buckle has some specific features that require attention: - There are six straps linked to the buckle, two for each part. The vertical straps should be 20-25mm wide, while the horizontal bottom ones should also be 30mm wide. - The back parts of the buckle slide into each other vertically, with the tension from the horizontal straps keeping it closed. - The front part of the buckle is linked to the vertical straps going around the neck. - To ensure a secure fit, you may need to fill in some areas and make adjustments as needed. Check out the pictures for an illustration on how to assemble these three parts.
