All out of Fil
thingiverse
If I were Duke Nukem, creator of all things awesome, I'd imagine he'd craft this sign with his own two hands. Anyways, I've been experimenting with color swapping and variable settings in Simplify3D - a tool that's become my go-to for all 3D printing needs. When it comes to using just two colors, make sure to slice your model at exactly 3.5mm, as this is where the background ends and the text and border begin. If you're planning on printing out this design, I'd love to see what color combinations you come up with - so please share! I sliced my part at a thin layer height of .35, and uploaded both G-code parts for your convenience. To print the base first, swap colors and then start the second part. This whole process should take roughly 1.5 hours if you're printing at a speed of 50mm/s.
