All-metal hot end. There are four types in total. Type A: CR10 type, using a separately cooled fan for the heat sink and blowing wind onto it. Type B: 2510 type, attaching 2510 fan to use. Type C: 3010 type, attaching 3010 fan to use. Type D: Short type, M3x10L male/female post with 3010 fan attached to use. To replace the joint, a set screw and adapter can be used in addition to E3DV6 attachment method (compatible with TITAN extruder, as shown in Type D). The nozzle is added by cutting a commercially available VOLCANO type. If the normal nozzle is short, the balance between the melting range and softening range will be bad, so it will clog with cheap PLA. Glass transition temperature high PolyPlus etc. can be used if there are cases. The throat part is cut from a stainless steel pipe (ID2mm OD2.6mm). For heat sink and heat block connection, use M2.5x20L plate screw. As position adjustment spacer, use a stainless steel pipe (ID2.5mm OD3.1mm) cut to size. The joint is added by cutting PC4-M5. Heat sink and heat block are made of aluminum (A6063) via CNC. (6mm end mill and drill hole processing). Currently, it has been confirmed that it does not clog with cheap PLA filament for several hours of use. To make it easier to manufacture (to make it easier to self-make), the heat sink is made without fins but with multiple holes to increase the surface area. The throat part uses a commercially available thin-walled small-diameter stainless steel pipe, so the inner surface of the filament path is less prone to get stuck. The fixing of the throat is performed by inserting it into the nozzle and joint (or stop screw) and tightening it, thereby ensuring the tightness of the connection part. Assemble the throat while applying a little heat transfer grease to the outer peripheral surface. (This is to ensure good contact at the hole through which the throat passes, when it was processed with a drill.) The STL data for heat sink and heat block has the screw part as a lower hole state.
