"All Hallows by the Tower, the City of London's oldest church, was founded by the Abbey of Barking in 675AD, three centuries before the Tower of London rose to prominence. A surviving arch from the Saxon church still stands today. Beneath its ancient foundations lies a Roman pavement dating back to the second century, unearthed in 1926 and testifying to nearly two millennia of urban life on this very site." https://www.ahbtt.org.uk/history/ Sincere gratitude is extended to Adey Grummet for her invaluable assistance in crafting this model.
