Alita - Original Damascus Blade
thingiverse
As a huge fan of the Battle Angel Alita manga, I thoroughly enjoyed the Cameron / Rodriguez film adaptation. But, I still prefer the original manga version of the Damascus Blade. So here it is, ready to be printed or cut out. You can print it on any printer you like or use the .DXF file to have it precision-cut from steel or laser-cut from wood. _____________________________ Update: I've added four new STL files - Alita_blade_A.stl, Alita_blade_B.stl, Alita_blade_C.stl, and two handle files for printers with a 200x200mm bed. To print these files, simply run them twice through your printer. _____________________________ This project requires steel or carbon rods as reinforcements. I designed it for 3mm rods, but 2.5mm threaded rod worked just fine. You'll also need six M5x25 screws - four to assemble the knife and two as stoppers to keep the blade in place when opening and closing. Next, you'll need a M5x15 washer, which you can either print or use regular metal ones. Tip: Switch from silver to black filament for the last three layers of the blade to achieve a realistic black steel with shiny edge effect.
With this file you will be able to print Alita - Original Damascus Blade with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Alita - Original Damascus Blade.
