Alilo Honey Bunny Dock
thingiverse
This is a stationary dock for the Honey Bunny (by Alilo). The dock acts as a permanent power-source, so you don't need to charge this kidsroom toy when it's empty. I don't know, why Alilo placed the charging-dock at the bottom (just like Apples magic mouse) but I found it annoying so I build this dock (and my first own 3d thing): 1. draw an outline of the honey bunny foot on a paper, scanned it and load this to Illustrator (as this is my favourit tool). I also made a photo to locate the USB port (don't forget to mirror this). 2. In Illustrator I traced the scanlines, placed the USB port, measured twice and exported a SVG file to Tinkercad 3. In Tinkercad I build a mockup from an angled USB cable (Amazon B07B6D3K5Y), placed it under the imported SVG file and build a rounded, lifted square. It took several attempts before I had succes (first mistake was not to mirror the USB port…)
