As I had a lot of nozzles to drill, I felt the need for some visual aid that would allow both views to be seen simultaneously. Fortunately, 3D printing let me build this device very quickly - and the ready availability of cheap USB microscopes didn't hurt at all.Pictures included show the device in use and a view on a 0.3mm nozzle being drilled. The video above shows the drill bit being moved first only in X and then in Y before drillingInstructionsPrint mirror holders and clamp at 100%, body with 3 shells and 25% infill. The screw holes were intended to take brass inserts but 4mm PVC tubing can be superglued in. Mirrors were cut from 3mm mirror glass although first surface dental mirrors would give a better view. The main body of this device should be mounted at 45º to the X and Y of an XY table, the middle nozzle view should be ignored but moving the X-axis will move one image,Y-axis and moving the Y axis will move the other.
