Alignment Jigs For Zone Mortalis

Eberleg's zone mortalis tiles are truly impressive, but accurately aligning wall sections during assembly can be a significant challenge, especially when printing individual components rather than the entire structure at once. To address this issue, I designed a jig that ensures precise alignment of both corner and long wall sections when gluing them together. While the straight section jig required some extra time to create, the corner sections simply utilize a standard right angle. Although it might seem unnecessary, I included the latter anyway. The tolerances in my straight wall jig were likely too tight due to PLA shrinkage during printing. Consequently, I had to perform light sanding to ensure it fit properly over the tile components. It's worth noting that scaling up the part slightly within your slicer may help avoid this finishing step altogether.
