This Pull Chain Handle is specifically made for standard #6 (3.2mm) ball chain use, but it will also work with smaller chains if a #6 metal connector is used. Another great pairing option for Ceiling Fan/Light combos, this print should come out smoothly without supports and minimal defects when printed at the right settings. To assemble, simply feed the chain through the top of the print and attach a standard #6 connector to it. You can also form a loop around a keyring and hook with the other end of the connector if using a ball chain and metal connector. If you don't have a metal connector, you can print the BALL-CONNECTOR.stl file I've included. However, keep in mind that printing it in PLA may result in a tight fit. To fix this, lay the chain on a hard surface, position the connector over the last ball of the chain and push down until it snaps into place. You also have the option to use string with a large knot tied in the end for a more rustic look. When printing, I recommend using 10% infill. However, if you plan to hang this on a ceiling fan, consider increasing the infill percentage for added weight and stability. As an experienced designer, I've created hundreds of remixes.
