Alien Queen

Alien Queen

I created an alien queen for the second-year challenge at my academy, where we had just two weeks to complete a full project from start to finish. This involved sculpting, modeling, texturing, and rendering - a thrilling experience that pushed me to test my skills in every aspect of the process. To stay on track and avoid procrastination, I set time limits for each phase of the project, ensuring that no part was neglected due to poor planning. Sculpting took place in ZBrush, where I brought my alien queen to life with intricate details and textures. Once the sculpt was complete, I moved on to retopology using Maya, carefully refining the model's surface to prepare it for further work. Next, I turned to Substance Painter, where I applied vibrant textures and colors to bring depth and realism to my character. In all, this project was an exciting opportunity to hone my skills in a variety of areas - sculpting, modeling, texturing, and rendering - while also learning valuable lessons about the importance of planning and time management.
