These plants were crafted with meticulous care, born from the skilled hands of a Maya artist. Textured in Substance Painter with precision and dedication, they stand as testaments to the creator's growing expertise in Nurbs and Curves within the program. Drawing curves was an entirely new challenge, one that required a fresh perspective on shape and form, rather than relying on base shapes and minor adjustments. The red plant, dubbed the Nectar plant, boasts vibrant pink spots that evoke the sweet, yet deadly nectar it produces. In the artist's imagination, this potent elixir proves toxic to certain creatures, which, upon consumption, succumb to its effects and unwittingly nourish the very plant that enticed them. Meanwhile, the blue and orange tree-like plant, set against a distant alien landscape, was designed to blend in with its surroundings. By infusing it with an otherworldly hue – a color rarely seen on our planet – and strategic orange stripes, the artist cleverly concealed this flora from potential threats, safeguarding its survival amidst an unforgiving environment.
