Alien Plants

The Alien Plants project offered the most enjoyable experience with its perfect balance of challenge and playfulness for me. Initially, I found the concept of creating alien plants while mastering NURBS surfaces to be a daunting task, but it turned out to be an incredibly rewarding process. During the revisions, my primary focus was on refining the geometry both internally and externally, as these areas required some attention. Additionally, I took the opportunity to seal off the end caps of the tentacles on the shorter plant, correcting a minor oversight from the initial project that I'm glad I could rectify. One area where I'm still struggling is making an opacity map work in Maya; if you have any advice or tips on this topic, it would be greatly appreciated.
