Alien Meson Gunship Mk1

This is a replica of the most common alien warship encountered so far. Dubbed Mk1 initially, it's commonly known as the eyeship due to its three main gun mounts positioned in a design similar to the aliens' eyes. The central area appears to be the bridge, but much information about the ship remains classified. Equipped with interstellar capacity and sublight engines, this vessel also carries three extremely powerful yet short-ranged meson type beam weapons. All three guns are capable of firing forward, limiting tactics as they tend to charge into close range and rely on their guns to destroy any target. If they fail to destroy the enemy on the first pass, they become vulnerable while turning to repeat the charge. The focus of tactics is always to strike their ships from a distance before they can get in close. However, they often appear in teams of three and can overwhelm a single Federation cruiser. They don't seem to have dedicated shields but are heavily armored with a living outer skin that can repair some damage. Apparently, this ship can be crewed by only six aliens, making them extremely vulnerable to boarding compared to the hundreds on most Federation ships. As a result, they lack the ability to field even modest shore parties, unlike the Federation's capabilities.
