Alien Life Chess Set This is an "Alien Life" chess set. Inspired by the Black Marker in Dead Space, this is an original chess set, designed and modeled by myself using blender. I've had minimal experience printing 3d models, so any feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot to @tselling for the fantastic pictures of the pieces lined up! If you have some pictures of the set, I'd love to see them! Update Log UPDATE: May 22nd, 2016: All files have been re-uploaded in proper mm units. The king is now 37.25 x 37.25 x 80.75 mm or 1.46 x 1.46 x 3.18 inches. A full set including 8 pawns, 2 rooks, 2 bishops, 2 knights, a king, and of course a queen has been included. UPDATE: June 16th, 2016: All files have been re-uploaded again. Thanks to cymon for helping me make the set more print ready! I've also run it through Microsoft/Netfabb's 3d model fixer - https://netfabb.azurewebsites.net/. If there are any issues, please mention them. This is still a work in progress, so changes will be made occasionally to make the set more print friendly or for aesthetic reasons. UPDATE: June 20th, 2016: New versions of the king and knight have been uploaded, along with updated FullSet and PieceSet files. I'm really pleased with how all the pieces turned out - sorry for making so many changes! This will be my last change for a while (unless there's a glaring issue that needs resolving). Any feedback is welcomed! UPDATE: August 19th, 2016: The knights aren't flat on the ground with the rest of the pieces anymore. Thanks to 1sPiRe for pointing out the issue!
