Alien Jar Babies
thingiverse
The Alien Jar Babies project originated from a sleep-deprived mind, featuring adorably grotesque creatures living in jars of "formaldehyde." The first prototype required a bolt as weight substitute; later versions will have lead. These figurines appear more captivating in person, exuding an eerie charm. Kenzo's model was instrumental. To recreate, print the alien figure in two parts, then hollow out a cavity for lead to weigh it down. Age the figure with modeling paint and color the "mouth" red. Fill a baby food jar with water mixed with yellow, green, and blue food coloring for an authentic formaldehyde look. Submerge the alien in the jar, and continue creating more companions.
