Presenting a rendition of the Maintenance Jack from Creative Assembly's 2014 video game, Alien: Isolation. "The Maintenance Jack is used to unlock doors that are fitted with security braces. It also serves as the primary melee weapon in the game. It can be used to stun and kill most enemies." The .stl files and graphics provided are based off the in-game assets and concept art. The 3D files were modelled in Blender, based off and scaled to match the relative proportions of low-poly meshes extracted from the game files. The graphics were created in Illustrator. The "real-world" scale of the Maintenance Jack was guesstimated from reference images. For reference, the overall dimensions of the provided .stl's when assembled come out to approx. 525mm long, by 120mm high, by 40mm wide. The graphics are scaled to match these dimensions. .zip files are provided for info with collections of .stl files that represent graphic placeholders (g--) and extra parts that were sourced elsewhere instead of printed (x--).
