Alien Flying Saucer (USB)

This MakerBot based spacecraft design is powered by USB, allowing for customization and programming of light patterns. The semi-transparent sections are created using dual extrusion technology, enabling light to shine through. The model can be found on YouTube at https://youtu.be/TUwZc-IqQZA. To assemble the ship, print the following STL files together: Ship Construction v2 - body top.STL (solid color), Ship Construction v2 - glass top.STL (transparent color). Next, print these two STL files together: Ship Construction v2 - body bottom.STL (solid color), Ship Construction v2 - glass bottom.STL (transparent color). Additionally, print one of each of the following to hold the LEDs for the top and bottom center lights: Ship Centre Bottom.STL, Ship Centre Top.STL. To complete the ship's legs, print three sets, as supports are required. Print the legs on their side, as there is minimal cleanup needed. The part can be found in Ship_Construction_Gear_v2.STL. Optional printing includes the Ship Centre Paint Holder.STL, which holds saucer halves with a popsicle stick during painting.
