I'm sharing my latest kick, featuring awesome objects inspired by Aliens to use around the house and office. This fantastic pen and pencil holder is a real showstopper on my desk, and I'm sure it would make an amazing plant pot too! If anyone creates something similar, please share your incredible creation with us. The print you see here measures about 5.5 inches tall and took an impressive 12.5 hours to complete using 10% fill with ABS material. It's been finished with a smooth acetone coating. This design is based on the free-standing Alien Egg concept from Thingiverse, combined with MyMiniFactory's item listed below. I did all the design work in MeshMixer.
