Alien bot, a versatile modular robot that's simple to reconfigure by swapping out its components or adding new ones to suit your needs. You can easily integrate any controller board that fits inside a square with dimensions of 82mm x 82mm (3.2in x 3.2in) or within a circle of 117mm diameter (4.6in). Adding Bluetooth connectivity is as simple as snapping on a module. For more information, visit create.arduino.cc/project. To get started, you'll need two micro metal motors that measure 19mm in width and can be found at pololu.com/category/60/micro-metal-gearmotors. You'll also require 422mm x 19mm wheels available at pololu.com/product/1090. A custom caster ball can be printed using a 3/8" diameter metal ball, or you can purchase one from dfrobot.com/product/950. The top part of the robot (plo_v2_shell_03a.stl) is designed for storing batteries and allows space to install a speaker at the front for voice output. Use a 10mm diameter RGB LED from seeedstudio.com/depot/Grove-Chainable-RGB-LED-p-850.html or similar for its eye. If you're looking to add more functionality, consider using various sensors that can fit into the existing holes.
