The landing gear on Alien 560 stock legs is virtually useless, often getting annihilated even with minor crashes. I came up with alternative replacements that complement what's left of the original equipment (refer to images). PU balls match perfectly over the pin and offer a gentle cushioning effect. **Installation Guide** I printed the base and pin as separate components using my Ordbot Hadron 3D printer, with ABS filament as the material. The base requires 25% infill and 3 shells for the entire structure, with the circular pinholder recess positioned downwards towards the bed. In contrast, the pin demands 80-100% infill to withstand significant impact when the robot crashes. Once both parts are printed, apply cyanoacrylate glue to securely attach them together. Additionally, OpenScad files are included for further modifications or tuning purposes if you need to adjust tolerances or other specifications according to your specific needs.
