This is really just a semi accurate place holder model for the components which come unassembled as part of the item purchased here from the link found in an applied science video. this is not my video or vendor link. I merely purchased the part and modeled its dimensions to facilitate mounting designs. I have also included a mounting plate to interface the spindle body to to the ender 3 V2 gantry plate, and a spindle drive motor mount plate designed to mount to the spindle body for the motors linked here: It requires a 6mm or less wide GT-2 -200 belt with a loop circumference of 186mm. It also happens that using an M5 tap on the top inlet hold of the spindle assembly will allow you to easily thread insert and obtain a strong fluid seal into the spindle body with a M5 hydraulic fitting like this; When combined with an appropriate EDM power supply like the rack robotics power core, or the G-EDM these components can make a nice desktop EDM mill or EDM deep hole drill. these fittings then are compatible with 4mm hydraulic line used in RC excavators or some bicycle brake cables. You can find pumps and whole kits at places like this:the included wire guide model comes from a part purchased at this ebay listing.the pump Ben uses is much nicer for drilling really deep holes. I took the drill chuck model from the one very graciously provided by Mikle. Drill chuck JT0This is a rotating drill head that allows high pressure fluid to be pumped through a long hollow electrode wich is kept rotating at a low speed by a gearmotor and GT2 belt assembly. this is ideal for doing deep high aspect ratio hole drilling with EDM if paired with an appropriate high pressure fluid pump and EDM power supply. the retaining ring was pulled directly from mcmaster.  Carbon brushes intended to be glued into the carbonbrushcontactorsupport (designed to mount to the drill spindle and provide a reliable contact to the side of the 3 jaw chuck) can be found here: Enjoy...It is also possible to create a specialized (and much easier to align and setup) EDM drill system that only translates in the Z axis, when combined with a good milljng vice like the one from nomad CNC.The following sets of aluminum extrusion   , Hardware, hardware (and a lateral stabilizer) can be configured using the alternative drill spindle mount design included herein to mount the drill spindle to the 1 meter ball screw linear stage. This EDM drill rig was used in my video about making ceramic glowplug hotends:
