Alice swung by the Big Bang Fair and took a spin on our 3D scanning rig, which boasts an impressive array of 96 DSLR cameras that collectively capture a staggering 1.8 Giga pixels of data with each sweep. We called in the favors of CapturingReality.com, who lent us their top-notch software to help process the data. Their tech is seriously advanced - it can sift through each image, pinpointing unique features and plotting them in 3D space if they show up on multiple frames.
