A bronze likeness of renowned Poet Lord Alfred Tennyson proudly stands watch in Poets' Corner within the hallowed halls of Westminster Abbey on August 5, 2009 in London. Born in Somersby, Lincolnshire on August 6, 1809, this celebrated poet laureate would go on to leave an indelible mark on literature before passing away on October 6, 1892. Thousands of mourners gathered for his solemn burial on October 12th within the Abbey's sacred grounds.
